Pastor Jean Ward
Pastor Jean Ward is a Pennsylvania Native, born in the southern end of Chester County. A 1976 graduate of Avon Grove High School.
In 1978 she began a career with a local drug store chain becoming management and then took on addtional roles of store acquistions an training of newly acquired store personnel. She worked for this company 30 years .
While She has always been a part of the Methodist Church , her decision to go into the ministry began in 2002. And she is thankful that she had a wonderful church family and supportive pastors to help her and to mentor her call.
In her home church of Fishburn UMC, Hershey she began teaching Sunday school, and Bible studies, led a mentoring class for new members, led a drama team in worship and began a prayer ministry. She was also a lay speaker and lay leader of the church.
She has completed two years of study under the Center for Spiritual Formation and has completed all requirements to be a Licensed Local pastor in the Methodist Church. She graduated from Course of Study in 2017 at Wesley Seminary in Washington D.C.
Reedsville/Church Hill/Milroy Is Jean's second appointment as Pastor after serving a year at Rebersburg Charge in Rebersburg PA
