January Mission is

One Dog at a Time.

ODAAT is a humane rescue group dedicated to helping dogs and other animals in need, assisting and providing resources to police departments, educating the general public about health and welfare issues in order to promote respnsible pet ownership, and helping owners maintain their responsibility with assistance when necessary. You may write a check to the church with ODAAT in the memo line.


October, November & December Mission was the Elementary Backpack Powerpack program. This is an ongoing mission for our church.

We provide weekend meals for

20 children.

August & September Mission is Meals on Wheels

Our local community averages 75 homes that receive meals and depend on our help. Volunteers are always needed to help make up the meals or to drive the meals to homes.

June & July Mission is UMCOR

UMCOR brings God's hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by war, conflict or natural disaster. UMCOR is a ministry of the United Methodist Church, its goal is to assist the most vulnerable persons affected by crisis or chronic need without regard to their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientatin. UMCOR spends 100% of designated donations on the projects the donors specify. Thank you!

April & May Mission was Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. They are in the process of building the 10th home in our county. Thank you!

March Mission was

Mifflin County homeless students

As of last month, over 80 students are classified as homeless with over half that number being elementary students. They need financial help.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Mifflin/Juniata Counties

Big Brothers Big Sisters develops positive relationships creating a direct and lasting effect of the lives of young people. They are an organization committed to fostering positive one-to-one relationships between youth and caring adults. THANK YOU!
